Polymer-Based Repair Systems

1. Introduction

These systems are based on SBR, Acrylic, or Vinyl Polymers, improving the adhesion, flexibility, and impermeability of cementitious materials.

They are used in thin-section non-structural repairs and surface protection.

  1. Consultant Guidance
  • Choose SBR for economical patch repairs or waterproof mortars.
  • Acrylics where UV exposure is high (external RCC).
  • PU or hybrids where movement and flexibility are required.
  • Check substrate dampness — SBR tolerates moisture; epoxy/PU do not.
